The topic of renewable alternative energy is a fascinating subject of discussion worldwide. Over the past few decades, fossil fuels such as oil and gas have played a significant role in meeting the global demand for electricity. However, the excessive combustion of carbon has led to various detrimental greenhouse gas effects. To mitigate the negative impacts of these gases, it is imperative to transition towards the utilization of alternative renewable energy sources.
This transition is emphasized by the United Nations in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically the seventh goal, which aims to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy. According to this goal, 30% of our energy needs should be met through renewable sources, thereby reducing heat transfer. In line with this objective, students have taken the initiative to design product prototypes that harness renewable energy sources, specifically through the use of Augmented Reality technology using the Reality Composer application. This innovative approach contributes towards achieving the SDGs.
